Newport Rhode Island

Newport will always have my heart.  When we first moved here I felt alone, and had left behind so much: my family, friends, career, and had been dealt a devastating infertility diagnosis the night before we left.  On my hardest days I would drive across the bridge to Newport to walk the water, search my soul, and do a little shopping.  Never EVER did I cross that bridge, for fun, with family, in the work van, in tears, and eventually with carseats, did i EVER NOT proclaim out loud my gratitude and awe that THIS WAS MY LIFE!

So much of this town is tied to special memories.  Easing an ache, bringing a new baby, driving with my parents.  We spotted these "oreo cows" on a visit with my parents.  Seeing them again brought back those memories of special times with my family.  And I realized I still have the memories.  Those time were what they are because of the people I still have!  Made Mr. stop so I could take a pic.
