Christmas Eve with Family

One of, if not the only reason we drive all of Christmas 16-20 hours across Wyoming, is to be with our families.
Christmas Eve, after all the bustle of the day and our individual family traditions, we gather around my parents tree to read the Christmas story.

Grandma June's German luminaries nativity makes it feel like Christmas to me.

We always take a late night drive to the cemetery to leave candles for our sister and our grandparents.
It's special to me to remember those who we love who are not with us.

We finally get everyone to sleep, and Santa arrives.

He even left a little something for us.
