On the Road Home

Took a few days at home to have some family time and make our own little traditions.

Baking Cookies

Wrapping

Then Dad pulled a Tetris miracle and loaded ALL OF CHRISTMAS into our Honda Pilot.  Stealthy!  His skills are stellar!

I'm not going to lie.

It's a LOT of work. 

By the time Christmas morning comes I've planned it, listed it, shopped for it, hidden it, forgotten where half of it's hidden, found it, wrapped it, loaded it, driven it 8 hours in secret, unloaded it In SECRET, re-wrapped some of it. I then watch them Unwrap it, we repack it, reload it, drive it 8 hours again, re-UNload it, and put it all away.  

I'm exhausted.

Not sure how much longer all this effort will be worth it.

Maybe next year we will try an at home Christmas with just our little family.
